Fashion Just Went Fusion
नमस्ते and Hello everyone!
I strived to create a unique and distinctive look and the go to mantra had been fusion wear. For this look I took the best of both the worlds - the ethnic Indian and the modern Western.
I teamed up an Anarkali kurta with trainers. I skipped wearing the salwar of the Anarkali, to strike a balance between east and west. The pockets, buttons, trainers and my lips, colour blocked the monochrome checkered dress, with the colour red, which symbolises Holiness. I accessorised the outfit with loads of oxidised silver jewellery which made the fusion look more appealing. The Boho touch added an Indian-ness.
Fusion look tip:
You can wear your kurta as tunic, dupatta as stole, and the salwar as trousers or pants.Fusion look does not limit till here. You can also utilise Indian textiles or embroideries to be adapted on Western silhouettes.
Fusion is fun. Be it music, food, dance and fashion, fusion is an idea that is catching up. So, this summer season, which fusion look are you going to try out?
